In addition to arranging, Spencer is a frequent composer. Composing music for the soul band Super Midnight with vocalist Jacquee Paul as well as writing instrumental hip-hop and jazz-influenced pop music on his own. Additionally, Spencer has recently begun composing music for radio ads and commercials. Below are a collection of recorded songs composed by Spencer.
ARRANGEMENTS
Spencer is both a composer and arranger, having written for many ensembles ranging from solo piano to horn bands, rock bands, soul groups, R&B ensembles, jazz bands & jazz vocal ensembles, commercial jingles, and even string sections.
Having arranged and composed music for horn sections for years, Spencer is truly a capable artist in this area. Arrangements for horn band include soul hits, funk chart-toppers, pop songs, brass band transcriptions, jazz arrangements, and even EDM songs with arrangements of Superstition, Isn't She Lovely, Hurricane Season, Papa's Got a Brand New Bag, September, Feel it Still, Imagine and others.
